Thomas Partey is flying into London as Arsenal race to push through an 11th hour transfer for the midfielder. Atletico Madrid have held out all summer, telling the Gunners to cough up and meet the player's release clause. Partey has been a long-term target for Arsenal but his 50m (£45m) release clause was deemed to hefty in recent months. Arsenal changed their stance, agreed to cough up the required cash and are now trying to land the 27-year-old hours before the summer transfer window slams shut.
