Morning all. Happy now? Arsenal left it late but what a great way to end this summer transfer window. Many deals went through yesterday but Arsenal smashed it with the signing of Thomas Partey, the midfield player many of us wanted to see arrive at the club. Partey is no ordinary player. He’s been playing a key role in a strong Atletico Madrid side. He’s experienced, strong, powerful and athletic. He is everything Arsenal have needed for ten years or more. At least he is if he brings his Atletico Madrid form with him to England. Partey will wear the No 18 shirt and join up with his new team-mates next after the international break. Straight in for the trip to Manchester City I wonder?...
