Arsenal boss Arteta to leave Ozil out of Europa League side over his 'condition'
Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil is set for another blow in his hopes of getting game time. Mikel Arteta is set to leave the World Cup winner out of his Europa League playing squad having stated in the past that he cannot give all his players regular minutes. Ozil, 31, was back in the headlines this week after he offered to pay the wages of Gunnersaurus mascot actor Jerry Quy, but his chances of getting back on the pitch for the first-team have been dashed. The former Real Madrid playmaker is set to be snubbed in the announcement, as is Sokratis.
