Arsene Wenger admits he will not return to the Emirates to watch Arsenal matches because his departure as manager in 2018 was “the end of a love story”. Wenger, 70, spent 22 years in charge of the Gunners, winning three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups. He remains the only manager in Premier League history to have avoided defeat throughout an entire season, with his 2003/04 Invincibles side not losing a single game in their title-winning campaign. However, in his last 14 years at the club Wenger failed to win another title, before stepping down from his position as manager at the end of the 2017/18 season.
