Arsenal made five new signings over the summer as Mikel Arteta demanded new faces to bolster his squad. The first man to put the Gunners’ shirt on was William Saliba, who finished his loan spell at Saint-Etienne in June after signing for £23.7m last season. But he was joined by Willian in August as the Brazilian swapped west London for north following the end of his contract at Stamford Bridge.
