Arsenal's strongest XI with all X summer signings included in starting team

Arsenal made five new signings over the summer as Mikel Arteta demanded new faces to bolster his squad. The first man to put the Gunners’ shirt on was William Saliba, who finished his loan spell at Saint-Etienne in June after signing for £23.7m last season. But he was joined by Willian in August as the Brazilian swapped west London for north following the end of his contract at Stamford Bridge. Arteta made it two centre-backs added to the squad when he beat Manchester United to Gabriel Magahaes’ signature in a deal worth £27m. Goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez’s exit for Aston Villa sparked the need for another goalkeeper, leading to the arrival of Icelandic shot-stopper Alex Runarsson...
