Loan watch: Torreira makes Atletico Madrid debut
Lucas Torreira made his debut for Atletico Madrid on Saturday. Our on-loan Uruguay midfielder played the full game as his new side ran out 2-0 winners against Celta Vigo in La Liga. Goals from Luis Suarez and Yannick Carrasco settled the match and leaves the Spanish giants eighth in the table after four games.
There was another debut for one of our loan stars this weekend as Dejan Iliev kept a clean sheet for Shrewsbury Town against AFC Wimbledon.
Iliev, who was making his first appearance in senior English football, helped The Shrews to a 1-0 win on the road in League One after a 90th-minute strike from Leon Clarke separated the sides late on.
