Milan and Southampton to scupper Asenal transfer plans?
Morning all. Pat Jennings, our 1979 FA Cup winning goalkeeper is 70 years old today to a big Happy Birthday to him! He was one of a few players to realise that there was a better footballing life across North London as switched clubs in 1977. Clive Allen was another in 1980 and that must be one of the most crazy of transfers ever as no sooner had he been given a kit and before playing a competitive match for us, he was on the move again to Crystal Palace in a deal which saw Kenny Sansom become an Arsenal player. We certainly got a great player in Sansom and how sad it is these days to see him struggling with life. I really hope he can sort his demons out and recover well. Among all the...
