Arsene Wenger’s ‘biggest Arsenal regret’ centres around Champions League

Arsene Wenger will forever be remembered as a legend in the red half of north-London. But the Frenchman admits he does harbour some major regrets from his glittering Gunners tenure. Wenger guided Arsenal to three league titles upon arrival in England but failed to secure success on the European stage during his 22 years at the helm. And that still haunts the former Emirates chief, who has been out of work since leaving the club back in 2018. “I never cared much about the UEFA Cup or Europa League, but I truly miss not having won the Champions League,' the 70-year-old told FourFourTwo.
