European Premier League could have 7 English teams - including West Ham

A European Premier League made up of the continent’s richest clubs would include seven sides from England. Plans for a new Europe-wide league run by FIFA broke on Tuesday afternoon. The tournament is expected to be made up of 18 clubs and could start as early as 2022. A total of five English clubs are reportedly set to join the new European Premier League, but if money were the main motivation behind its creation, then England could claim a right to have seven clubs in the competition. That’s how many English clubs are in the top 18 of Deloitte’s annual Football Money League.
