Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has assessed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s recent struggles in front of goal, defending his star. Aubameyang has not scored since signing a new deal at the Emirates with the striker’s last goal coming back on the opening weekend of the Premier League season. The Gabon star has regularly featured on the left side of Arsenal’s attack with Arteta seemingly reluctant to play him through the middle. Though the boss is confident Aubameyang will be back on the scoresheet sooner rather than later, and is taking good signs from opportunities he is getting.
