Chelsea star Jorginho opens up about Arsenal interest during transfer window
Chelsea ace Jorginho has admitted there was conversations over a move to Arsenal this summer, but the midfielder decided to stay at Stamford Bridge. The Gunners were interested in the Blues star though Mikel Arteta eventually signed Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid. Jorginho signed for Chelsea in 2018 though struggled at times under Frank Lampard last season having previously impressed with former boss Maurizio Sarri. It looked like he would leave west London this summer with a number of Italian clubs interested alongside Arsenal.
