Leicester ‘weather Arsenal storm’ as super-sub Jamie Vardy crushes Mikel Arteta

Jamie Vardy may have started on the bench at the Emirates Stadium - but he hurt Arsenal once again with a massive goal for Leicester. The Gunners have seen Vardy net 11 times in 12 Premier League games against them now. The 33-year-old bagged his 109th goal in England’s top flight with 10 minutes to play. Having been introduced on the hour mark due to fitness concerns, Vardy showed no signs of any injury holding him back. Brendan Rodgers was delighted his game plan worked in north London and pushed the Foxes up to fourth in the table.
