Covid-19 vaccine could see Premier League fans back in 2021 after meeting today

Premier League chief executive Richard Masters appears at a Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport select committee today and is set to press for fans to return. Fans have been unable to attend matches since March due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Football resumed over the summer to complete last season with the new campaign kicking off behind closed doors. There was good news earlier in the week with an apparent breakthrough in a successful Covid vaccine. Masters will now meet with MPs and the Mail Online claim he’s likely to push for a return of fans after the current lockdown.
