PL fans to return as hopes raise for big December fixtures like Manchester derby

Premier League fans will be keeping a close eye on developments this week after Boris Johnson confirmed that supporters will be able to return to matches from December 2 onwards. The announcement will be a huge boost for football supporters who have been unable to attend live matches since the coronavirus began to wreak havoc all over the globe back in March.  The new rules will see up to 4,000 spectators allowed to attend outdoor sports events in lowest-risk tier one areas of England when a month-long national lockdown is lifted on December 2.
