Arsenal urged to avoid any hasty Mikel Arteta sacking in wake of Leeds game

Arsenal have been warned against sacking Mikel Arteta as a knee-jerk reaction to Sunday's dismal draw against Leeds United. The Gunners were poor in the Premier League clash at Elland Road, where they had to hang on for a 0-0 draw with 10 men after Nicolas Pepe was sent off for headbutting Ezgjan Alioski. Arteta's side had only two shots on target - and had to wait an hour for the first one, from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The goalless draw means Arsenal have scored just one goal in their last five league games - and that was Aubameyang's penalty in their 1-0 win over Manchester United.
