Nicolas Pepe apologises for headbutt as Arsenal star faces time out suspended

Nicolas Pepe has issued an apology to Arsenal supporters, his team-mates and the club for his needless headbutt on Sunday. The Gunners winger stuck his head in the face of Leeds United wing-back Ezgjan Alioski. And after a check from VAR, on-field referee Anthony Taylor checked the monitor before awarding a red card. The sending off fortunately did not lead to Arsenal losing their Premier League clash at Elland Road. But it did restrict them badly as they held Leeds to a 0-0 draw, leaving them down in the bottom half still.
