Christoph Freund: 'Dominik Szoboszlai likely to leave Red Bull Salzburg in January'

Red Bull Salzburg sporting director Christoph Freund has conceded that Dominik Szoboszlai is likely to leave the Austrian club during the January transfer window. The 20-year-old has been in strong form at club level during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring five goals and contributing nine assists in 14 appearances in all competitions. A number of clubs, including Arsenal, Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur, have been credited with an interest in the Hungary international, who is thought to have a £23m release clause in his current deal.
