Arsenal legend Ian Wright has admitted that he is surprised to see Mikel Arteta deploying Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as a central striker despite calls from supporters. The Gabon international has been playing as a left winger for much of the season, but returned to the tip of Arsenal's attacking trident for the goalless draw against Leeds United earlier this month. However, he has struggled in front of goal this season, having scored just once from open play in the Premier League.
