Nicklas Bendtner addresses Arsene Wenger spat during Arsenal transfer phone call

Former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has opened up on his row with his old boss Arsene Wenger. Bendtner spent nine seasons with the Gunners having emerged from their academy back in 2005. The Dane was regularly on the fringes of the first-team and spent time on loan away from north London. And frustrations got the better of Bendtner in a phone call with Wenger in 2013 with the forward looking to leave Arsenal. ”We respected each other and had very good meetings – we were honest with each other,' Bendtner told the January 2021 edition of FourFourTwo.
