Loan Watch: Olayinka on target for Southend
James Olayinka scored for Southend in their 1-1 draw against Mansfield in League Two this weekend. Olayinka picked the ball up on the right touchline, played a quick one-two to beat his man and then fired the ball into the top-left corner from 25 yards.
Our 20-year-old midfielder was replaced in the 58th minute after picking up a knock before Mansfield levelled the scores late on through Nathaniel Jordan Bowery.
Daniel Ballard was also in action this weekend. Our Northern Ireland international returned to the Blackpool starting XI for the first time since December 1, after missing most of the month through injury.
