In a swirling snow storm, it looked a potentially tricky task, but the Gunners look back in form and made light work of their old foe Sam Allardyce. Kieran Tierney opened the scoring with a dipping strike, Bukayo Saka then made it two when Mikel Arteta's men rolled back the years with a flowing move reminiscent of the glory days under Arsene Wenger. Albion had a goal disallowed for offside in the second half, before Alexandre Lacazette continued his fine goalscoring form with a second-half brace.
