Arsenal looking to cash in on Sokratis?
Arsenal outcast Sokratis is reportedly wanted by Serie A side Genoa as the Gunners look to ship out the Greek centre-back. The 32-year-old was frozen out of Mikel Arteta's team in the summer alongside Mesut Ozil and has likely played his final game in red and white. Fenerbahce are believed to be interested in a deal for Sokratis, but the former Borussia Dortmund man is supposedly in demand after entering the final six months of his Emirates deal. According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal hope to recoup a fee for Sokratis before he becomes a free agent in the summer, and Genoa are now the frontrunners for his signature.
