Arsenal reject William Saliba suffers nightmare Nice debut after loan move

William Saliba was straight into the Nice side following his loan from Arsenal but it wasn’t the best starts for the young defender. Saliba returned to France as he joined Nice for the rest of the season having previously impressed with Saint-Etienne. Arsenal signed him in 2019 for £27m though he is yet to make an appearance for the Gunners and was left out of Mikel Arteta’s side this campaign. It’s hoped that a spell with Nice will help Saliba though his first match with the Ligue 1 side ended in defeat. Indeed the clash with Brest was all but over inside the first half an hour with Steve Mounie and Franck Honorat netting. William Saliba made his Nice debut having signed on loan...
