Hertha Berlin 'yet to decide on the future of Arsenal loanee Matteo Guendouzi'

Hertha Berlin will reportedly not make a decision on the future of Arsenal loanee Matteo Guendouzi until the end of the season. Guendouzi was sent on a season-long loan to Hertha in October after falling out of favour under Gunners boss Mikel Arteta. The 21-year-old midfielder has been impressive for the Bundesliga side, establishing himself in Bruno Labbadia's side, where he has scored twice in 10 league appearances this campaign. German news outlet Bild reports that Arsenal may consider recalling the Frenchman this month to bolster their own options in middle and will try to reintegrate him back into the first team squad before his contract expires in 2022.
