Martin Keown sad at how Mesut Ozil's Arsenal career has ended

Arsenal legend Martin Keown has admitted Mesut Ozil 's impending departure from the club is 'really sad', with the playmaker expected join Turkish side Fenerbahce on a free transfer this month. Ozil has been frozen out by Gunners boss Mikel Arteta, having been omitted from the club's Premier League and Europa League squads at the start of the season, and the latest reports claim the player and the club have reached an agreement to terminate his contract. The 32-year-old is expected to jet to Istanbul to finalise the move in the coming days and Keown believes it is sad that Ozil's time at the Emirates is set to end this way.
