Morning all. Some transfer rumours are amusing, as the chances of Arsenal paying £71 million to Real Madrid for Martin Odegaard are very slim to very none. Yet that’s the story doing the rounds this morning, or at least the story Football London have conjured up. ‘Arsenal’s ears may have perked up’ they suggest. He’s handed in a transfer request they ‘report’ although there’s no evidence to support either theory. There’s no doubting Arsenal need a midfielder, in my opinion someone like Rosicky, Fàbregas or Cazorla. Try finding one of those these days, especially on a budget which most clubs are these days.
