Real Madrid 'will not consider permanent Martin Odegaard sale'

Real Madrid are reportedly not prepared to sanction a permanent exit for midfielder Martin Odegaard. The highly-rated Norwegian has struggled to get a look-in under Zinedine Zidane this term and is understood to have asked for a loan move away from the club in January. Arsenal have supposedly made an approach to sign Odegaard on a short-term deal, while a return to his former club Real Sociedad has also been mooted. However, Marca reports that while a loan move in January is a possibility, Los Blancos will not consider selling him permanently.
