Jamie Carragher rips into Arsenal as “hangover” must explain first-half display
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher ripped into Arsenal after their dismal first-half display against West Ham at the London Stadium. The Gunners went in 3-1 down at the break after three goals in 32 minutes from Jesse Lingard, Jarrod Bowen and Tomas Soucek, but it was Arsenal's overall performance which concerned the Liverpool legend most. A Soucek own goal late in the half reduced the deficit and gave the Gunners hope, but Carragher was still scathing of their efforts prior to the strike.
