One Premier League club 'holding emergency meetings' about quitting Super League

At least one of the Premier League’s Big Six clubs is holding emergency meetings about withdrawing from the proposed European Super League, according to reports. European football was rocked to its core when 12 leading clubs announced their intentions to break away from UEFA competitions and form a new and exclusive Super League on Sunday. As well as the Big Six English sides - Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham - Spain’s Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid and Italy’s AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus are the other founding members who would be guaranteed qualification into the league year on year regardless of sporting...
