Ek and Invincibles to ignore Kroenkes’ Arsenal statement and make £1.8bn bid

Daniel Ek and his team of Arsenal Invincibles look set to ignore Stan Kroenke’s Tuesday night statement and press ahead with their plans to buy the club. The Spotify CEO confirmed his ambition to purchase the Gunners last week and is now fronting a £1.8billion bid alongside Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira and Dennis Bergkamp. Kroenke issued a firm rebuttal to Ek’s plans on Tuesday, insisting he will not entertain any offers for the club and that he remains “100% committed” to Arsenal.
