Who will start at left back against Villarreal?

One of Mikel Arteta's biggest selection dilemmas ahead of Thursday comes at left back. Our manager confirmed that he would assess Kieran Tierney's fitness in Wednesday's training session, as our No 3 continues his rehabilitation from a knee injury. But Granit Xhaka has proved a capable deputy, and Arteta says the lack of rotation in that area since Tierney's injury was designed to help our midfielder learn the role. "It's been one of the reasons, because of the way we wanted to play and the players around.
