Sarri 'could replace' Mikel Arteta at Arsenal - but Tottenham remains an option

Former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has emerged as a potential replacement for Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, should the Spaniard be relieved of his duties. Sarri has been out of work since last summer, when he was sacked by Juventus despite wrapping up the Serie A title. Arteta's days at Arsenal look to be numbered as the Gunners fell short in their quest for the Europa League title, and they are now facing the prospect of no European football next campaign. Arsenal, who sit in 10th, have largely underwhelmed this season, and calls for Arteta to be sacked are gaining momentum with each passing week.
