Brighton & Hove Albion have placed a lofty £50million price tag on Ben White following his call-up to the England squad for Euro 2020. The defender was called up to Gareth Southgate’s 26-man squad following Trent Alexander Arnold’s injury against Austria last week. White adds extra cover in the England defence with Harry Maguire’s fitness still in doubt, though he faces competition from Tyrone Mings and Conor Coady for a starting spot alongside John Stones.
