Euro 2020: Leno's Germany beaten by France

Bernd Leno was on the bench for Germany's Euro 2020 opener against France in Group F. Our 29-year-old keeper was named as one of 12 substitutes in Germany's star-studded clash on Tuesday evening in Munich, but had to watch from the sidelines as Joachim Low's side were beaten by the 2018 World Cup champions.  After a goalless first 20 minutes, France made the breakthrough when Mats Hummels turned the ball into his own net from Lucas Hernandez's low cross.  Chances then came and went in the second half for Kylian Mbappe and Thomas Muller, before time ran out for the home side.
