Arsenal's Matteo Guendouzi 'agrees four-year deal with Marseille'

Matteo Guendouzi is reportedly closing in on a move to Marseille from Arsenal on a four-year deal. The former Lorient man quickly established himself as a regular fixture under Unai Emery's tutelage, but discipline issues marred his time with Mikel Arteta in the 2019-20 campaign. Guendouzi has not pulled on the Arsenal shirt since being involved in a fracas with Brighton & Hove Albion's Neal Maupay, and he was shipped out on loan to Hertha Berlin last term, but the Bundesliga club did not take up their option to buy the midfielder.
