Real Madrid join Mikkel Damsgaard race?

Real Madrid have reportedly joined the race for in-demand Sampdoria attacker Mikkel Damsgaard. The 21-year-old shone for Denmark during their run to the Euro 2020 semi-finals - netting two goals and assisting one more - including a thunderous free kick against England. Damsgaard and Denmark ultimately suffered extra-time heartbreak against the Three Lions, but the Sampdoria man is understandably in high demand following his successful tournament. Tottenham Hotspur have long been linked with a move for the former Nordsjaelland man, but Marca claims Real Madrid have now joined the race as well.
