Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith-Rowe was the subject of a substantial bid for Aston Villa, which was rejected, with manager Mikel Arteta claiming the player was “staying here 100%”. The Gunners are reportedly keen on signing four players including a goalkeeper, a defender and two midfielders, having already announced the transfer of Portuguese left-back Nuno Taveres. To do that, they will have to sell players, and there are some in the squad that could be on the move this summer.
