Inside Samir Nasri's career from failed drug test to WAG row as ex-Arsenal star retires
Former Arsenal, Manchester City and West Ham midfielder Samir Nasri has announced his retirement from football at the age of 34, bringing an end to a career full of highs, lows and plenty of controversy. Nasri first rose to prominence in France with Marseille, scoring and creating 42 goals in 166 appearances before joining Arsenal for a fee of £12million in 2008. The winger played some of his best football at the Emirates but moved to Manchester City three years later for £25million, invoking fury from Gunners fans after he refused to sign a new contract. He became a hate figure among the majority of Arsenal supporters following the switch - but that's not what he's best remembered for....
