A few eyebrows were raised when a sharply dressed Arsene Wenger appeared on the Arsenal touchline in 1996. Up until that point, Wenger had only had spells at Nancy, Monaco, and Japanese side Nagoya Grampus Eight making him something of an oddity to English football. But doubts over Wenger were soon swept away as his Gunners team brushed aside a Blackburn Rovers team that had narrowly missed out on the title the season beforehand.
