Ben White admits Arsenal "didn't feel like a big club" after £50m summer arrival

Ben White has admitted he did not think much of Arsenal as a big club after signing for £50m in the summer. Mikel Arteta had made bolstering his defence a priority after losing David Luiz at the end of last season. It had left the Gunners short at the back while White was a top target throughout the transfer window. The 23-year-old has been tipped for stardom and Arteta has been keen on bringing down the overall squad age with a summer of deals. As well as White, Arsenal signed Aaron Ramsdale, Nuno Tavares, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Martin Odegaard and Albert Sambi Lokonga.
