Mikel Arteta says he was "really sad" about Steve Bruce statement as he calls for change
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has admitted his sadness over Steve Bruce’s comments about the abuse he received while in charge of Newcastle. Bruce departed St James’ Park on Wednesday by mutual consent after the Magpies were taken over by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. The Englishman has since highlighted the amount of abuse that he was subjected to during his two-year spell in the North East. The now-former Newcastle manager’s comments have clearly struck a chord with his counterparts across the 19 other Premier League clubs.
