Arsenal hero Aubameyang almost joined Tottenham but would now rather retire

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has forged his own legacy at Arsenal, and despite once coming close to joining Tottenham, the Gunners captain claims he would now rather retire. Aubameyang signed for the Gunners in 2018, and he has since gone on to find the net 92 times. However, things could be slightly different if the Gabon international had joined Spurs from Saint-Etienne in 2013. Instead, Aubameyang left for Borussia Dortmund, which started his path that led to Arsene Wenger signing him.
