Biereth nominated for PL2 Player of the Month
Mika Biereth has been nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for April. In a string of standout performances, our young striker scored three goals in three matches, including a brace in our thrilling 3-3 draw with Manchester City at Emirates Stadium. Biereth has been nominated by the Premier League’s Football Development Panel, after PL2 club coaches picked the best performance by an opposing player in each of their league matches in April - the Panel will also select the winner. Our striker could become our second PL2 Player of the Month winner this season after Folarin Balogun claimed the award in November. Full shortlist:
