Arsenal star set for bumper new £130,000 a week contract
Olivier Giroud has been a huge part of any and all success we've enjoyed in recent seasons, with the Frenchman our only real option up front much of the time. He is being rewarded with a massive new contract, with the former Montpellier man set to pen a deal worth a £130,000 a week, as reported by the Metro. The 28-year-old splits opinion at the Emirates, with many feeling he isn't of the required calibre to lead the line at Arsenal. He has shown real quality in recent seasons however, with his form in 2015 following his return from injury a contributing factor in our lengthy successful spell.
