Abou Diaby Set For Medical With West Bromwich Albion
It has been reported that Abou Diaby is set to undergo a medical with West Bromwich Albion. Sky Sports suggests that the French midfielder, who was released by Arsenal earlier this summer, will have a medical with the Baggies this weekend before completing a free transfer to the West Midlands club. Diaby, 29, endured an injury-ravaged nine-year stay with the Gunners which restricted him to just 16 Premier League appearances over the past four seasons. Baggies boss Tony Pulis is keen to run the rule over Diaby who at times was a monster in Arsenal's midfield but was unable to stay on the pitch long enough to have a real impact for Arsene Wenger.
