Arsene Wenger: 'Wojciech Szczesny close to Roma switch'
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is on the verge of completing a loan move to Roma. The 25-year-old has been linked with an exit from the Emirates Stadium after falling behind new signing Petr Cech and David Ospina in the pecking order. Wenger has stated that the Polish international will not take part in the forthcoming Emirates Cup in preparation for his switch to the Serie A outfit.
