Report: Wojciech Szczesny to make Roma switch permanent
Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will join Roma on a permanent deal next summer, according to reports. The 25-year-old announced that he is on the verge of a season-long loan move to the Serie A side on Sunday, after falling further down the pecking order at Arsenal due to the arrival of Petr Cech. The deal with Roma was expected to be just for a year, but The Mirror claims that the Polish shot stopper has played his last game for the Gunners. Szczesny lost his place as Arsenal's first choice on New Year's Day, when he was caught smoking after Arsenal's 2-0 loss to Southampton.
