Arsenal To Reward Alex Iwobi With Improved Deal
It has been revealed that Arsenal are preparing a new contract offer for talented youngster Alex Iwobi. The 19-year-old winger has forced his way into the senior team in recent months and has now tallied 14 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners. On Saturday, Iwobi marked his full Premier League debut with a well-taken goal and Man of the Match honours in the 2-0 win over Everton and according to the London Evening Standard, Arsenal are set to offer him improved terms. The Nigerian-born attacker penned a deal, worth less than £1,000 a week, in October last year that will keep him at the Emirates until 2019 but the North London club will increase that to closer to £10,000 a week.
