Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: Walcott fit for Euros despite strain
Arsene Wenger thinks Roy Hodgson should select Theo Walcott for Euro 2016. Theo Walcott only has a minor hamstring strain and should be available for the Euros if Roy Hodgson selects him for the squad, Arsene Wenger has said. Walcott missed Arsenal's last game of the season, a 4-0 win over Aston Villa, when Hodgson was at the Emirates to watch the game. Walcott has not been a starter for Arsenal in the last part of the season, and this may have been his last chance to impress Hodgson. However, Jack Wilshere made his first start for Arsenal and looked sharp before being taken off with about 20 minutes remaining.
