Arsenal plotting summer contract talks with international midfielder
Arsenal are planning to open discussions with Jack Wilshere as they look to pin the midfielder down to a new deal. According to the Daily Mail, the Gunners are keen on offering the Londoner a new contract and will instigate talks after the European Championships. The injury-prone box-to-box operator is under contract to 2018, but even though he hasn't managed to prove his fitness at the Emirates Stadium, the club still appear keen to extend his contact. Arsenal's faith in Wilshere—which comes after he's only managed 141 Premier League minutes this term, over three appearances for the Gunners—is reflected by England coach Roy Hodgson.
